The grounds of Subiaco Abbey provide a beautiful setting to experience the presence and love
of God and peace of Christ through walking, hiking, reading, or meditation. Outdoor Stations
of the Cross wind through a pine grove tucked beside the Abbey hill. Tranquil meadows and
tree-covered hills, a Lourdes grotto, and porch swings in a gazebo encourage meditation.
To keep body and spirit in tune, tennis and basketball courts, an all-weather track and an
outdoor pool are also available for guests.
Subiaco Abbey and Coury House are located 50 miles east of Fort Smith on State Highway 22,
and 20 miles south of I-40 and Clarksville at the intersection of Highways 197 and 22.
By public transportation, the Fort Smith Regional Airport is convenient and easily accessible.
By bus, again, Fort Smith is the best choice. Please contact Coury House for further directions
